Terms of service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These terms govern your use of showday.live (the “Service”), operated by Showday (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
The Service
Showday is a shared workspace for coordinating live events across independent companies — turning riders and requirements into agreed, published and acknowledged plans. The Service may be offered during a pilot or early-access period and may change as it develops.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at security@showday.liveif you suspect unauthorised use.
Your content and ownership
You and your organisation retain ownership of the content you add — documents, requirements, agreements and other data. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and the teams you share it with, including processing documents to suggest requirements. Each organisation's private information remains private and is shared only as that organisation chooses.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe others' rights;
- upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is harmful or malicious;
- attempt to access another organisation's private data or circumvent access controls;
- disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or misuse the Service.
Integrations and third-party services
When you connect a third-party service (such as Google Sheets), you authorise us to access it as needed to perform the actions you request. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. External changes enter Showday as proposals for a person to review — they do not change an agreed or published plan on their own.
AI-assisted features
Showday can suggest requirements and organise information automatically. These are aids for human decision-making, not professional, engineering, safety or legal advice. A responsible person must review and confirm consequential decisions. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you add to and publish from the plan.
Confidentiality between participants
Information shared with you by another company through a show is provided for coordinating that show. You agree to use it for that purpose and not to disclose it beyond the people who need it, consistent with any sharing scope shown in the Service.
Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and brand, is owned by Showday and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights in it except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for how you rely on the Service to run a live event.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Showday will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim, or ₹10,000.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Showday against claims arising from your content or your use of the Service in breach of these terms or applicable law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service or its users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
